I know I'm a bit behind on my Heroes viewing (let's not talk about Jericho right now!), but these mid-season breaks in nearly all the big shows really takes the wind out of the sails.
But E19 was the restart after about 3 months or so off-air. And it didn't disappoint.
We saw most of the main characters, and witnessed two deaths (one of whom resurrected) caused by that nice guy Syler.. Hiro travels into the future, after the explosion and doesn't like what he sees. He decides to go an find Isaac (the clairvoyant artist), (not knowing he's one of the two deaths we've just witnessed), only to encounter a time line of events strung from the ceiling and "future-Hiro". Future-Hiro is a more groomed version of the Hiro we know, as we saw a while back on the metro train that got stopped with Peter in it.
It'll be interesting to see how current-Hiro turns into future-Hiro.
Other sections of the cast are running away from the creepy Eric Roberts before he kills them. meanwhile he is meeting with Mohinder saying that he can "help". Umm...
And the Las Vegas based Linderman starts to make me wonder who are the good guys and who are the bad guys... he has "healing" powers. Oh and Mrs Petrelli alludes to some unknown power as well.
Quite a good restart for the end of season run up, all told.

Drive... why?
Drive is a new drama that's just started on Fox in the USA. We've had four episodes to date, and then they went and CANCELLED IT!
The season was commissioned with 13 episodes: they made 6 and broadcast 4, with the last 2 possibly streamed like Day Break. But I mean - 4 episodes, that's just ridiculous. It was getting around 5 or 6 million viewers per episode (compared to 24 with 11+ million for instance), but that just ain't good enough for the US TV execs.
There is a petition running if you want to express yourself, but I don't expect it to change anything.
American TV seems to have far too many cancellations like this, of shows that start off very promising and then just get canned when you get into them.
UPDATE: I've just noticed that the "final 2 episodes" - ie, episodes 5 & 6 of 13 in total.... will air "this summer".

Lost S03-E18 - D.O.C.
Ok, it was assumed that Mr Patch would make a reappearance this episode, as he was listed in the cast list on imdb.com, but no real explanation as to how he recovered from his recent foamy mouth/bleeding ear episoide with the giant "electro-fence" (as Hurley put it). And we knew it would be a Sun flashback episode.
But that last bit of dialogue bteween Hurley and the mystery guest was a killer!
-Where am I?
- I dunno. On an island. We were on Oceanic 815 and we crashed
-That's impossible
-I know, but some of us survived
-No. Flight 815 was found. They found the plane. Everyone was dead
In fact it was only beaten only by Hurley's timid response. "What?"
I'm not sure where the end of season episodes are taking us, but that last section has certainly got us ready.
For those who bailed out of Lost early in season 3, they are missing a storming end of season.
I'm off to lost-forum.com to see what the gossip is...

What's this then?
As with many UK people I tend to watch a fair amount of TV shows from America. This includes shows running on terrestrial TV, satellite/cable and sourced via other means as well. Of course, keeping up with current shows means an emphasis on the latter. I won't elaborate further.
Be warned that if you are following programmes at UK pace then this site may contain spoilers. If you are following at US pace then you'll be OK...
As I actually work for a living though, I don't have time to watch every single show from the States, although I do try to give anything new a chance, which has got me hooked a number of shows before they got picked up in the UK.
The main things that I currently follow are (in no particular order): Lost, Numb3rs, Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother, My name is Earle, Jericho, Bones, and Heroes.
There are others - in fact quite a few that I used to follow, until they got canned after a handful of episodes, but I will post about those separately.

I'll also try and cover some of the "How do I....?" type questions that seem to spring up when talkign about this stuff to people.
